What Does It Mean
To Be A Christian?

Christ and America Were One and the Same
Christians
&
Jesus
To be a Christian is to be a follower of Christ.
A Christian is a believer in Jesus Christ.
It does not mean to belong to a particular religious group.
While belonging to a religious group may help you to be a Christian, membership alone does not make you a Christian.
A Christian has consciously accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Role Models
&
Jesus
Every day, you realize that you need a role model to be better.
Jesus is the ultimate role model.
We as humans need role models.
We had many prophets, much written inspiration, but no true role model.
Jesus came to this earth to give us an example of how it could be done.
So if you - in your heart - are a Christian, you have to embody the examples of Jesus.
Every day, in every way, you have to find the way to show love and compassion.
Every day, in every way, you have to stand up for defenseless, weak and downtrodden.
Christian
America,

The
Role Model

This country was founded by men, who in their best moments, understood this.
They understood that they were responsible for their lives and salvation.
They understood they needed to follow their Christian beliefs.
They understood they were stewards of Christ's gift of example.
They actualized these principles into living documents, formulated on Christian beliefs never before written down and used as the basis for daily life.
Jesus and America are inseparable.
When we try to separate them we will no longer be America.
We will no longer be the guiding light that made us different from all the world.
So, Are We?
So, the question is - are we still America?
