The Governmental Process? |
| Pursuing the
impossible dream |
Yes, even back in the stone age days, (you know - before television) when the founders roamed this country, considerable thought was given to how they could create the best government possible with the least amount of citizen involvement, all while still maintaining total control over those elected to office. |
| Sound impossible? | Actually it wasn't; and they did it. At least they laid the ground work for it in form of our founding documents. |
| What was so
different about it? |
The one thing that eluded all the preceding nations was the one element that was the divine gift to America; total citizen ownership and consequently total citizen control. |
| Why is that so
important? |
Since we try to be a civilized nation with laws to guide us, it is of the utmost importance that the citizens be legally in charge. That has never happened before and has never happened since this country was officially formed in 1783. |
| You are more like the
founders than you think. |
Since they had this unique ability to create any kind of government they wanted, they carefully considered all the preceding governments and their own human shortcomings and created what is still considered the most unique form of government on this planet. |
| The Genius of Our
(former) Republic |
They created a system that: demanded almost no direct citizen involvement; had very strict limits on elected officials powers; had very limited abilities to create funding for themselves; and was totally based on Christian principles of honor and trust. |
| So what happened? | The political parties happened. Trust stopped happening. Selling out happened. Christian values stopped happening and consequently the Republic stopped happening. |
