Connecting the Dots . . . .

You are busy, your plate is full, but this is important.
Please take a minute to consider this "look at the forest".
Sometimes we are to close or to busy to see.
A series of events has occurred over the past two weeks which have very serious implications for our nation. As you read this please remember that NONE of these could have taken place or have any effect except in an environment of fear, especially the fear exhibited over the last month.

September 11th shocked this nation, much like being awakened from a deep sleep. Many citizens are still disoriented, with adrenaline flowing; they are profoundly afraid, not able to focus and grasp the situation.  Most are desperately trying to get a grip and accept this harsh change of reality.

I contend that some elements within our structure of government are feeding the fear and taking advantage of the rampant paranoia being promoted.  Many of you may not know of the series of events i refer to, so i will give you hot links to the Washington Post for authenticity.

The dots . . . .

Connecting the dots . . . .
For years, political and governmental operatives have attempted to control both this country and select regions of the world that support our technological appetite.  Their methods have produced backlashes which provide a fertile environment for terrorism. Since terrorism by its very nature is nameless and faceless, it is important for our operatives to be able to give their operatives a face and a name to take the focus off of what caused it initially; after all it's much easier to rally anger and hatred against someone or something tangible instead of an intangible like fear.  (Do you know the difference between an operative and a terrorist? An operative does it FOR you and a terrorist does it TO you.)

The invitation to NATO into our domestic affairs is a watershed event for several reasons. NATO planes and forces are comprised of soldiers from several other countries and would have less resistance toward inflicting punitive measures on citizens of this country; it sets a precedent for incursions in future events; and it sends a message around the world that we cannot control the events we have created.

The constant reminder of possible terrorist activities by these governmental agencies only serves to heighten the sense of fear and thus control.  The media, with their many dedicated news channels, play directly and perfectly into this by constantly reinforcing the fear message; talk about effective psychological warfare, this is the most effective use of a major addiction in this country, the TV.

The method of quick passage of the Anti Terrorism bill is further cause for alarm.  This bill, anonymously authored, appeared, and was pressured through the House of Representatives, virtually overnight.  Many legislators admit to not reading or having the time to comprehend its many far reaching provisions. Yet in a few short days it became another shameful reminder of what this country has become, a democracy controlled by the few with the ignorant support of the many, all fueled by negative and destructive emotions.

The talk of National ID Cards is a further example of the type of control thought necessary by those who trust no one and fear everyone. Giving blanket authority to the government to monitor and control everyone's movement in this country is the final and ultimate step in destroying the Republic which was founded on a fierce sense of honor to God and responsibility to each other.  Where has that gone?

The fruits of our labor . . . .
The united States of America, once the city on the hill shining it's light of truth and values for all the world to see, is rapidly falling into the trap of materialism and ego.  The events listed above point to a pattern of fear ridden, materially focused minds trying to preserve a series of lies and deceit. Never before has this country, both internally and abroad been in such a predicament.  Fifty years of this singlemindness has created a world which does not trust and yes - even hates - what has been done to them, all under the flag of our nation.  Key elements of both political parties have successfully commandeered and bribed many in this country with cheap anything to give us the illusion of success all at the expense of many of our world neighbors.  This relentless exploitation has taken it's toll both here and abroad.  In this country, while wallowing in the technological fruits of this exploitation, we are spiritually LOST and emotionally EMPTY.  Abroad, several generations have born the brunt of this exploitation and have become ANGRY. This anger has come home to roost.

The political scramble . . . .
Now those in control are quickly organizing this country so that in the event the citizens wake up to what they've been doing, the citizens will be powerless to resist them. The invitation of NATO to patrol and monitor American airspace is a significant event all by itself. That coupled with constant reminders of how much we should be afraid - all conveniently promoted by the media - and the tremendous push for legislation which gives them blanket authority over every aspect of your life should at least make you wonder what is going on.

Conclusion . . . .
Using the hindsight of history, i sense another major deterioration of our citizen's supposedly un-alienable rights and controls is occurring.  EVERY major incursion into citizen's rights have come in a time of calamity and chaos.  The Civil War, the World Wars, the Depression are examples.  The common thread in all of these is FEAR.  A certain amount is healthy, it keeps us from becoming ego-centric; but unabated fear, like we are currently witnessing, invites a wholesale destruction of the unique and cherished rights preserved for the citizens of this country by the founders.

When has the stripping of rights ever prevented evil from flourishing? Metaphorically, truth is light; fear is darkness.  This country was founded on the light of eternal truth, and the founders meant for EACH ONE OF US to uphold those un-alienable truths; the strength of this nation WAS in the knowledge that each person had about the truth; and their preservation and sharing of those truths.  Conversely, fear causes us to run from the truth; we shirk our duty to learn and preserve truth; we allow others to control and influence our understanding of the information necessary to know the truth.

Sadly, the more we fear, the worst it gets, because fear is endless; it is the black hole of the intellect.  The more you get pulled in, the faster it goes and the harder it is to get out.  We HAVE to stop feeding the fear.  There is only one way to stop fear; have FAITH.  You have a choice; do you feed the fear or your faith; or in other words, do you feed the light or the dark?

Faith, the antithesis of fear, is the basis for this nation; an unwavering faith in God; founded on centuries of proven experiences.  Imagine where we would be today if over the last fifty years we had been living and demonstrating the Christian values of LOVE and RESPECT instead of fear and control.  Would we have created an environment for terrorists to thrive; would there have been any terrorist acts?  What does your heart honestly tell you?

We truly are at a crossroads in human and American history; will we succumb to our fears or prevail in the truth.  Will we salvage and resurrect the Republic or sink into the temptation of a democracy, only to fail quickly and violently?  The events over the past few weeks indicate that these monumental decisions are on our shoulders.

The fate of the free world, what little of it that remains free, is on us; so wake up, shake off the slumber, get a grasp on your Christian values and humbly pray; pray to intimately know the eternal truths so that those promoting the propaganda of fear will be exposed to the truth, and like insects exposed when you move the rock, scurry from the light.
